Unexpected Visit My girlfriend and I both attend the same university, and she had been having a bad couple of days. The fact that she had to stay at school until 8 p.m. didn't help her mood either. So, I rounded up my trusty dog (German shepherd), put him in the car, and bought a single rose. I drove into our school and as she left class there I stood with a rose and my dog on the front steps of the school under lightly falling snow. The look on her face said enough, and since it wasn't too cold we took a walk around town. I could tell that improved her mood, she didn't have to say a thing.
