Tucked Away Roses
My boyfriend and I are both in college, just two different schools. So, we don't get to see each other much, except over the weekend. After church one Sunday, he had mentioned that he wanted to see me that night. This was slightly unusual, because we usually didn't get together Sunday evenings. He called me when he got off work (he works Sunday afternoons). He said he would be there soon; he had a surprise for me. I thought he was going to take me somewhere and show me something. He arrived at my house and we got in the truck to go. He had planned it so that while we were driving, he asked me to grab something from under the seat for him. I pulled out three red roses. I was speechless. By this time we had parked the truck and he looked over at me. I was totally surprised and didn't know what to say. He told me that you only give flowers to someone you truly care about. That was the most wonderful surprise.
