Unexpected Birthday Surprise
Two weeks before my birthday, my friend and I went shopping. We tried on a few items for fun and thought they were really nice. The next weekend, three days before my birthday my friends and I and our partners went out for lunch. My boyfriend showed up with a bunch of roses because we had an argument earlier on. After lunch we got home, I was putting the roses in a vase while my boyfriend was in my room resting. Five minutes later he came outside and apologized for arguing with me earlier. I went inside my room and was about to get changed when I noticed a new dress hanging in my closet. The exact same dress my friend and I tried on 2 weeks ago. At first I was confused because I had no idea what was going on. I quickly went outside to ask him and before he could say anything I noticed on my shoe rack was a new pair of stilettos. The exact same ones my friend and I saw 2 weeks ago. I was surprised to say the least. Everything fit perfectly. How did he know? He wasn’t there when my friend and I went shopping. When did he have time? I rang my friends who denied knowing anything. Later on I found out he had the whole thing planned. He was asking my friend about ideas for my birthday present. She mentioned about our shopping trip. He somehow convinced my friend to buy these items with his money. When we met up for lunch earlier, our partners had excused themselves to move the car, it was then when they exchanged the presents! How clever and thoughtful. I had no idea it was coming. It certainly made my day. For my actual birthday, I wore my new dress and my new shoes and was feeling on top of the world. He couldn’t keep his eyes off me. The look on his face was priceless and I have memories that will last a lifetime
